Canadian Abortion Rights Action League

Canadian Council of the Blind (CCB)

The CBB was founded in 1944 by Canadian war veterans and schools of the blind.
This organization alongside the Canadian National Institute for the Blind highlighted discrimination against individuals with visual impairments in employment along side other practices: being banned from sitting on juries; harsh immigration policies; denied minimum wage; and prohibitions on marriage for people with mental disabilities.

The Co-Operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF)

The Co-operative Commonwealth Federation was a political party founded in Calgary, Alberta with the mission to represent progressive farmer, socialist and labour forces and to implement robust social welfare measures across the country.
The party presented its founding program in 1933 (known as the Regina Manifesto). The CCF was been an outspoken proponent of the federal and provincial Bill of Rights and a major advocate for anti-discrimination legislation.

Canadian Human Rights Museum

In 2014, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights opened and at the time, was the first museum solely devoted to human rights awareness and education.
