Maritime Indian Treaties

This report by W.E. Daugherty was created in order to understand the history of Maritime Indian Treaties within Canada starting from 1686 until 1779.
This report focuses on the 68-year period that consisted of battles between France and England to gain control over North America, which also included the "Treaties of Peace and Friendship" with Indigenous peoples.
However, these treaties rarely involved both parties equally involved in signing.
