Guide to Manage COVID-19 Fatalities
  • As a result of mass fatalities due to COVID-19, the Public Health Agency of Canada along with Canadian public health and infection prevention and control (IPC) members prepared a document to guide and manage funeral workers, regional planners, community leaders, coroners, and medical examiners through this time.
  • This guidance includes how to plan for an increase in deaths, how funeral homes and crematoriums can prepare, how bodies should be dealt with, and how to remain even more compassionate towards the mental stability of family and loved ones during their grief.
