The Arctic Council discusses the importance of addressing gender equality in the Arctic and they continue to improve and develop economically. Areas to strengthen include improving mobility between men and women, combating violence against women, and improving data collection in the Arctic, in order to address dominant problems affecting women and other diverse groups in the North.
