  • The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs analyzes and discusses the importance of the relationship between Canada and Mexico within the North American Free Trade agreements.
  • Chaired by the Hon. Peter Stollery and the Hon. Consiglio Di Nino, the Senate discusses the successes thus far between the two countries, and also provides recommendations for future work.
  • These recommendations include increased efforts to advance the bilateral relationship, enhance the knowledge and understanding of Mexico in Canada, and a suggestion to examine Mexico's other trade agreements outside of Canada to see where success is found.
