The Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls
- In 2016, the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls was launched to analyze the disproportionate rates of violence, murder, and sexual abuse faced by Indigenous women and girls in Canada.
- While this inquiry began in 2016 and was finally published in 2019, well after the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada (which was active from 2008-2015) demanded an inquiry into missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls in their 41st call to action of their final report.
