Canada and the G7
- The Group of Seven (G7) is an intergovernmental political group, that was founded in 1975 and includes Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
- As some of the most advanced, developed, and wealthiest economies in the world, the leaders of the G7 meet to discuss and address global economic affairs and prominent transnational issues.
- Canada officially joined the G7 in 1976.
