Virtual Care in COVID-19
- In lieu of the COVID-19 pandemic response, the Government of Canada invested $240.5 million on May 3rd, 2020, to enhance the use of virtual tools to help aid Canadians primarily in addressing their healthcare needs.
- This policy, intended to support the provinces and territories, has also fueled bilateral agreements between the federal and provincial governments.
