Iqaluit: A month without clean water in Canada's north
- After reports of weird odours coming from water supplies in Iqaluit, the mayor of Iqaluit came forward to say there may have been a fuel spill into the water supply.
- The water was so toxic that residents were told that the water would not be safe even after boiling, and were forced to use bottled water for over a month.
- This issue affected citizens greatly as Iqaluit already deals with food insecurity.
