Nunavut Land Claims Agreement
  • This is the official Nunavut Land Claims Agreement Act, which is an act that helped lay the groundwork for creating the territory of Nunavut.
  • This act also gave the Inuit of Nunavut control of more than 350,000 sq km, cash payments, and protection of Inuit rights to fish and hunt.
