The Ontario Women's Equal Employment Opportunity Act
- Nearly two decades following Ontario's Female Employees Fair Remuneration Act, the province introduced the Women's Equal Employment Opportunity Act in 1970.
- This Act prohibited discrimination in the recruitment, training, dismissal, and probation or apprenticeship stages of employment based on someone's sex or marital status.
