North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)
- First signed into law in December 8, 1993, and enacted the following January, Canada, Mexico, and the United States agreed to the North American Free Trade Agreement, with the goal of increasing economic progress by helping to eliminate barriers to trade between the three countries.
