- The Residential Schools missing children community support fund was created to help locate, document, maintain, and commemorate the sites where former residential school students were buried, and to help respond to the wishes of families who lost their children in this way.
- Following the recent findings of further unmarked graves and burial sites in/near Residential Schools around the country, the Canadian government investment over $320 million into the fund.
