National Holocaust Monument Act
- Bill C-442, an Act to Establish a National Holocaust Memorial became law on May 25, 2011, signed by the Governor General and it took just over six years until the project was completed.
- This is the official National Holocaust Monument Act, which serves to forever remind Canadians of one of "the darkest chapters in human history," to act as a educational tool for future generations and to help prevent future acts of genocide.
