The Saskatchewan Fair Accommodation Practices Act
- Following suit with other provinces at the time, Saskatchewan implemented their own Fair Accommodation Practices Act in 1956.
- This legislation meant that any and all people deserve the right to freely visit or obtain services from a hotel, victualling house, theatre, or any other facility that is typically available to the public without being denied based on race, religion, religious creed, colour, ethnic or national origin, or class.
