The Alberta Human Rights Commission
- The Alberta Human Rights Commission, which was also established with the introduction of Alberta's Individual's Rights Protection Act and the Alberta Bill of Rights in 1972, acts as the administrative body responsible for carrying out the objectives of the Alberta Human Rights Act (AHRA).
- The commission works to reduce discrimination and promote equality by engaging in public education and community initiatives, and through resolving discrimination claims and human rights tribunal/court hearings.
