The Nova Scotia Fair Employment Practices Act
  • The Nova Scotia Fair Employment Practices Act (1955) was created to prevent and prohibit discrimination in the workplace.
  • As such, employers could no longer discriminate against a potential employee based on the grounds of race, national origin, colour, or religion.
