  • This 18-part bill enacts income tax measures that help the Canada Child Benefit and smaller employers, the Canada Emergency Response Benefit Act (CERB) to support workers as a result of loss of work due to COVID-19 and the Public Health Events of National Concern Payments Act.
  • Additionally, the bill amends the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation Act, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation Act, the Export Development Act, the Federal-Provincial Fiscal Arrangements Act, Part IV and IV.1 of the Financial Administration Act, the Food and Drugs Act, the Canada Labour Code, the National Housing Act, the Patent Act, the Canada Student Loans Act, the Farm Credit Canada Act, the Canada Student Financial Assistance Act, the Business Development Bank of Canada Act, the Apprentice Loans Act, and the Employment Insurance Act
