Canada-Michigan Crossing Agreement
- In June 2012, the Government of Canada and the State of Michigan signed the Canada-Michigan Crossing Agreement, which established the framework for the Gordie Howe International Bridge project (also known as the most ambitious bi-national infrastructure project along the Canada-US border).
- This agreement helps lay the foundation for the construction of the bridge, Ports of Entry and the Michigan Interchange, and it provides provisions for the design, build, financing, operation and maintenance of the Gordie Howe project.
