Modern Treaties and Self-Government Agreements

This is the Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs first report on the Implementation of Modern Treaties and Self-Government.
The purpose of this report is to highlight the federal government's progress in implementing treaties and agreements with Indigenous peoples.
This report identifies the socio-economic impacts of modern treaties and agreements on Indigenous peoples, how these efforts are fundamental in rebuilding the relationship between the federal government and Indigenous peoples, and how there is still much more to be done.
