- This is the updated version of the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code that took effect in August 1979, which in effect remains today.
- The Code amalgamated and updated the human rights legislation that passed in 1947.
- Over the last 70+ years, the Saskatchewan Bill of Rights Act has since been changed to the Saskatchewan Human Rights Code and has undergone numerous changes to better protect the freedoms and rights of all Saskatchewan people and will continue to evolve accordingly.
