Bill C-20
- This bill contains 3 parts. The first amending the Income Tax Act, which alters the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy eligibility to support employers who are struggling due to COVID-19.
- The second amends the Pension Act, the Department of Veterans Affairs Act, the Children's Special Allowances Act and the Veterans Well-being Act in order to help provide a payment to those with disabilities for reasons related to the pandemic.
- The third enacts the Time Limits and Other Periods Act (COVID-19), which acknowledges that time limits, especially those regarding Acts of Parliament, may need to be adjusted based on the unpredictability to COVID-19.
